We are in search of a Hotel Sales Manager to be part of the Sales team efforts to develop and implement the total sales and marketing effort for the hotel, including securing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, and assist in executing sales and marketing strategies to maximize the profitability of the hotel while maintaining customer satisfaction.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sells hotel guestrooms groups, catering services, and banquet facilities through direct client contact to maximize total rooms revenues and profits.
Establishes client base of organizations, associations, social, and corporate businesses through direct outside and inside sales effort for the purpose of securing business for the hotel to ensure that predetermined sales expectations are met or exceeded.
Develops and maintains relationships with key clients in order to produce group and/or convention business.
Negotiates guest room rates, meeting room rental, function space, and hotel services within approved booking guidelines. Confirms in writing to the client all requirements via sales contract.
Conducts tours of the hotel and banquet facilities; entertains qualified potential clients in accordance with company and property policies and procedures.
Assists the Director of Sales with the implementation and achievement of the Sales Marketing plan.
Attends and represents company at trade shows and city-wide conventions.
Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
Skills / Requirements
2 years + hotel sales experience within the corporate/ group market. MUST
